The black plastic chain guard for the Monster Moto / Mega Moto Mega Max MM-K80 80cc go-karts might not look like a very important go-kart part, but is very useful. This cover helps to prevent dirt and debris from getting inside the go-kart’s drive system, causing damage to the chain, sprockets, and other inner workings. The chain guard also protects the rider from getting any loose clothing or body parts caught in the chain drive system. This chain guard is mounted by way of three mounting holes and rests close to the left rear wheel.

Note: This is an unused part but may have adhesive residue or minor etching from the obsolete Monster Moto logo sticker. These stickers were removed by the brand’s distributor after Monster Moto changed their name to Mega Moto, but were not replaced with the newer logo version. This very minor factory blemish will not be apparent when the chain guard is mounted.
