The M14x1.5 castle nut (short for “castellated nut”) is found on a very wide range ao brands and models, including the Monster Moto / Mega Moto MM-K80R 79.5cc go-kart. This example has a zinc finish, but could come in other finishes depending on current stock.

Castle nuts are usually used with threaded rods or bolts with a hole bored for a cotter pin. The pin fits through the hole and castellations to prevent the nut from turning until the pin is removed. This feature makes the castle nut a preferred fastener for axles.
